Elmer's Color-Glue Packaging Design

Created original packaging concept for a potential reboot of a former Elmer’s glue-paint product. Elmer’s has jumped on the diy slime trend placing emphasis on their classic glue product as the go-to ingredient for kid crafters everywhere. My prototype of the bottle is designed to reflect the organic oozy form of the colorful glue made for creating vibrant artwork.
I sketched out concepts and measured to the scale of a medium-sized Elmer's Glue® bottle. I designed and executed the final mockup by hand sculpting and shaping green sign foam material with my Dremel tool. I then primed and sanded it until smooth enough to spray paint. I updated the logo to reflect the refreshed product look and feel, and created a full product line in a range of vibrant neon color options.
My packaging concept would be a great way for Elmer's® to make a splash in the market by reviving this product and stand out on shelves.
